Mar 5, 2018 –
A new support group has been added to the list of support groups that meet at the Grief Resource Center: The Adult Sibling Support Group. Facilitated by Lori Nawman, the group meets the first Monday evening of each month from 6:30 – 8:00 pm at 1113 University Blvd. NE. Sibling grief is a loss for which there is often very little support. It is often overshadowed by the parent’s loss of a child. Siblings grieving the loss of a brother or sister experience a variety of emotions tied to the relationship. Everyone’s grief deserves attention and talking with others who know the pain of sibling loss can make a healing difference in your grief journey.
